Benedict Financial Advisors, Inc. was formed in 1982 as a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) so that we could provide high quality, personalized financial and investment advice to our clients. We are independent and privately-owned, thus we can truly focus on serving our clients’ best interest rather than meeting sales quotas and pushing products. Our team of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERS™ work in a fiduciary capacity for our clients, putting our clients’ interests before our own.

What is a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA)?

A Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) is a professional advisory firm that offers investment advice to its clients for a fee. Registered Investment Advisors (RIA) firms are registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) or state securities regulators and are subject to the Investment Advisors Act of 1940. And finally, Registered Investment Advisors (RIA) firms have a fiduciary duty to their clients, which means they must always act in the clients’ best interest.

What is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®)?

The CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation is a professional certification mark for financial planners that have met the high standards of competency and ethics established by the CFP® Board. CFP® Board’s Standards of Professional Conduct require CFP® professionals to act in their clients’ best interest.
