When I was almost 4 years old, my father was involved in a work accident that caused permanent disability requiring life-long care.  This suddenly left my mother a single parent caring for me and my younger sister.

Working in her career as a Registered Nurse, she had to save, invest and plan for her future while also trying to raise my sister and I to eventually become independent and successful adults.

My mother worked closely with her financial advisor to help her navigate the financial complexities of saving for retirement, planning for our college, and eventually realizing her dream of building a forever home in her hometown in North Georgia.

It was evident my mother trusted in the advice she received from her financial advisor and that partnership through the years gave her the ability and confidence to reach her financial goals.

When I was given the opportunity to join the team at Benedict Financial Advisors, Inc., I thought about the impact a trusted financial partner had on my mother’s life and her financial success.

With Phil as a mentor to learn from and help establish my career, I’m grateful and honored for the responsibility to be that financial partner for our clients (including my mom).

I am originally from the Atlanta area. After graduating from South Gwinnett High School, I attended Berry College in Rome, Georgia and received a B.A. degree in Psychology from The Charter School of Education and Human Sciences. After Phil offered me the opportunity to join the team, I completed my post graduate studies for the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM  designation at Oglethorpe University.

My wife, Christie, and I currently reside in Brookhaven, GA. Outside of the office, I enjoy CrossFit, reading, playing golf, traveling, and watching University of Georgia and Atlanta Falcons football.
